Every Saturday morning the Newport Chanting Community meets at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Emmanuel Church with the common purpose of chanting together and promoting world peace. The chants are from different countries and faiths around the world.

On Saturday, October 28 I get to do one of my favorite things- which is to join them in leading sacred songs and chants. Everyone is welcome. The event is free. Donations are greatly appreciated and go to the Emmanuel Church community meals.
