Hydrosonic Therapy- Private Sessions, Plant City, FL

Cymatic patterns created in the water by a Himalayan singing bowl. Sound travels 2-5 times more quickly through water and, because the body is 60-70% water and is close to the same density and elasticity, it feels more of the sound and is very responsive to the vibroacoustic effect of the resonance.

Hydrosonic therapy, a sound healing modality developed by Rosie Warburton, explores the synergistic relationship between water, soundwaves, and the physical body through the combination of aquatic therapy and the vibroacoustic resonance of Himalayan singing bowls. The client is gently supported by both the hands of the practitioner and comfortable flotation devices in the water, which is heated to a comfortable temperature to avoid changes in core-body temperature. As the body begins to let go and surrender to weightlessness, the therapist begins playing Himalayan singing bowls which are also floating in the water. The reduction of gravitational force combined with the therapeutic resonance of the bowls offers an otherworldly experience and provides deep relaxation, pain relief, improved mobility, emotional integration and deep meditation.
