In this two-day workshop you will learn how Tibetan (or Himalayan) singing bowls can be used on or off the body to induce deep relaxation and relieve physical and emotional pain. The combination of the tones of ancient metal singing bowls balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain inducing a meditative state. They activate the parasympathetic nervous system, increasing the production of melatonin and seratonin and lowering stress hormones. Tibetan singing bowls have been found to be helpful in dealing with the effects of chemotherapy, as well as depression, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and other stress-related autoimmune disorders. Learn how you can effectively utilize these ancient sound healing tools in your practice and increase your efficacy and enjoyment as a healer, massage therapist, bodywork practitioner or teacher.

The class will provide 12 “hands-on” Continuing Education credits for Florida Licensed Massage Therapists but is open to anyone interested in learning more. There will be a wide variety of authentic antique singing bowls available for purchase at the workshop.
